V.I. The radical left is hatred and destruction

The radical left no longer has anything positive to offer. Its program is no longer to offer a better world to workers. Successive radical left governments have demonstrated to workers that life is more prosperous in a free market, under a constitutional republic. All of their proposals have been unmasked by history as failures and frauds. No one with a modicum of intellectual seriousness considers the far left as anything other than a faction obsessed with seizing power at any cost, seeking personal and group advantages, while perpetuating a totalitarian legacy of poverty and misery.

Its current program revolves around the following main themes:

Chaos as a political opportunity, inspired by Machiavelli. Its actions aim to destroy institutions, attack people, foment resentment and unhappiness, make the world uglier and less welcoming, and fragment society. In short, to provoke chaos to facilitate the rise to power.

Cultural hegemony, derived from Gramsci, involves controlling the means of cultural production and transforming socialism/communism into a state religion: in the media, through biased fact-finding, denial of evidence, systematic distortions, and outright lies; in schools and universities, through ideological indoctrination across all curricula, creating generations of activists; and in the judiciary, with the creation of “progressive” theses that serve partisan agendas.

The co-optation of large capitalist economic groups, learned from Mussolini. These groups reject free-market competition and prefer an interventionist state that eliminates uncertainty, neutralizes competitors, and guarantees monopolistic profits.

The Policy of Champions
The policy of champions was an economic development strategy adopted by the radical leftist (Workers’ Party) governments of Lula da Silva and Dilma Rousseff in Brazil, under the premise of creating large national companies that could compete in global markets.
The government selected companies it considered “champions” (usually those with large contributions to the Workers’ Party’s election campaigns), such as the JBS group, providing them with access to easy financing and tax incentives, and promoting market concentration. With government support, companies like JBS were able to expand their operations, acquire competitors, and position themselves as leaders in their sectors, reducing or even eliminating competition.
Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), viewed by the government as losers, often found themselves at a severe disadvantage, struggling to compete, while larger companies, benefiting from subsidies and financing, could charge lower prices and offer products on a larger scale.
Consumers of these companies’ products, politically irrelevant to the Workers’ Party, were harmed by this market concentration.

The destruction of the middle class, a latent desire since Marx (whose prediction of the end of this class reflects more wishful thinking than objective analysis, as its existence and expansion are incompatible with the communist utopia), worsened after the Frankfurt School. The middle class is exploited in every way to finance state expansion and create mass dependencies, resulting in widespread impoverishment.

The Radical Left Hates the Middle Class
At an event hosted by the Maurício Grabois Foundation on May 13, 2013, Marilena Chauí, a member of the Workers’ Party (a Brazilian radical leftist political group) who calls herself a philosopher, expressed her hatred and contempt for the middle class (not just the Brazilian one):
I hate the middle class. The middle class is backwardness. The middle class is stupidity; it’s reactionary, conservative, ignorant, petulant, arrogant, and terrorist. It’s something out of the ordinary. (…) The middle class is a political abomination because it’s fascist, an ethical abomination because it’s violent, and a cognitive abomination because it’s ignorant. The end.

In fact, the middle class is the greatest expression of the defeat of Marx’s ideals and Marxism and the main barrier against the radical socialist dream of an elite of millionaires, artists and pseudo-intellectuals, like Marilena Chauí herself, and the rest of the population living in poverty and depending on the State.

The misappropriation of public resources, morally defensible as a consequence of Marx’s lessons, since such resources, extracted from the middle class and capitalists, were not acquired fairly (they are theft). Once in government, all actions prioritize the allocation of funds to the faction or the purchase of votes, essential to implementing unpopular agendas. Even with intense indoctrination, these ideas fail to gain organic traction (only corruption moves parliamentarians to support them, contrary to the will of the majority of the population).

The implementation of censorship and persecution of opponents, as is the nature of socialism, a system that brooks no opposition. Now, relying on control of higher courts and corrupt judges to approximate Western law to Sino-Soviet law, the radical left in power silences dissenters and consolidates authoritarianism, perpetuating its cycle of control.

To create chaos, the radical left acts to destroy all social ties (socialist freedom is freedom from all social ties and submission only to the state). And, to destroy all traditional social loyalties, its agenda of chaos includes using state institutions to promote:

  • atheism and godless religions, to attack ties to God and morality;
  • alien religions, to attack Christian churches;
  • gender ideology, to attack a person’s bond with their own body;
  • state regulation of marriage, same-sex families, and polyamorous families, to attack traditional marriage;
  • the murder of unborn children and the state indoctrination of children and adolescents in public schools, to attack families;
  • criminals and the destruction of the quality of life in the cities they administer, to attack individuals’ ties to their community, place of birth, and childhood;
  • the large-scale importation of foreigners from around the world, with different origins and cultures, so that they cannot assimilate, to attack the cultural ties of nationals with their own community, their fellow citizens, and their cultural past.
The far left is nothing but hate
In a speech to the Caremont Institute in 2025, the Vice President of the United States, J. D Vance, is incredibly lucid about the nature of the current far left and the Democratic Party’s nominee for mayor of New York:
“Why is a mayoral candidate in our nation’s biggest city whining about banning Bibi Netanyahu from visiting and threatening to arrest him if he tries? Or attacking Narendra Modi as a “war criminal”? Why is he talking about “globalizing the intifada”? What the hell does that even mean in Manhattan?
But what might seem like a contradiction makes sense if you peel back the onion a bit. Consider: a movement that rails against the billionaire class despite the fact that the billionaire class remains firmly in its corner. It idolizes foreign religions even as it rejects the teachings of those faiths. It rails against white people even as many of its funders and grassroots activists are privileged whites.
I was once comforted by these contradictions. How could privileged whites march around decrying white privilege? How could progressives pretend to love Muslims despite their cultural views on gender and sexuality?
But the answer is obvious, isn’t it? The radicals of the far Left don’t need a unifying ideology of what they’re for, because they know very well what they’re against.
What unites Islamists, gender studies majors, socially liberal white urbanites, and Big Pharma lobbyists? It isn’t the ideas of Thomas Jefferson or even Karl Marx. It’s hatred. They hate the people in this room, they hate the president of the United States, and most of all, they hate the people who voted for him.
This is the animating principle of the American far Left. It isn’t true of most of the people who vote for Democrats, of course. Most of them are good people, even if they’re misguided in their politics. But pay attention to what their leadership says outside of glossy campaign ads or general election-tested messaging, and it’s obvious that this is what animates the modern Democratic Party.
The far Left doesn’t care that BLM led to a spike in violent crime in urban black neighborhoods, because it also led to anarchy in middle-class white neighborhoods.
They don’t care that Islamism hates gays and subjugates women, because for now it is a useful tool of death against Americans.
They don’t care that too many pharma companies are getting rich from experimental hormonal therapies, because it destroys the “gender binary” that has structured social relations between the genders for the whole of Western civilization.
They don’t care that deporting low-wage immigrants will raise the wages of the native-born, because they don’t mean to create higher living standards for those born and raised here—black, white, or any other skin color. They mean to replace them with people who will listen to their increasingly bizarre ethnic and religious appeals.
They are arsonists, and they will make common cause with anyone else willing to light the match. It’s why Mamdani himself is such an appealing instrument to the Left. He captures so many of the movement’s apparent contradictions in a single human being: a guy who describes the Palestinian cause as “central” to his identity, yet holds views—abortion-on-demand and using taxpayer money to fund transgender surgeries for minors, for example—that would be incomprehensible on the streets of Gaza.
This politics doesn’t make sense as a positive political program. But it’s very effective at tearing down the things the Left hates.
One task of statesmanship is to recognize what the Left wishes to do to American society. But the most important thing is to be for something. And that’s the second thread I want to touch on today: if the Left wishes to destroy, we must create.”

Without any bonds , the result is unhappy, mentally ill, sociopathic, maladjusted people who see no meaning in their miserable lives and, therefore, are capable of committing the most horrible crimes and capable of believing any madness that the radical left sells them.

Stephen Miller on X
After Charlie Kirk was cowardly murdered and his death celebrated by many radical leftists, Stephen Miller (1985, and American advisor) posted on X:
“There is an ideology that has steadily been growing in this country which hates everything that is good, righteous and beautiful and celebrates everything that is warped, twisted and depraved. It is an ideology at war with family and nature. It is envious, malicious, and soulless. It is an ideology that looks upon the perfect family with bitter rage while embracing the serial criminal with tender warmth. Its adherents organize constantly to tear down and destroy every mark of grace and beauty while lifting up everything monstrous and foul. It is an ideology that leads, always, inevitably and willfully, to violence — violence against those uphold order, who uphold faith, who uphold family, who uphold all that is noble and virtuous in this world. It is an ideology whose one unifying thread is the insatiable thirst for destruction. We see the workings of this ideology in every posting online cheering the evil assassination that cruelly robbed this nation of one of its greatest men. Postings from those in positions of institutional authority — educators, healthcare workers, therapists, government employees — reveling in the vile and the sinister with the most chilling glee. The fate of millions depends upon the defeat of this wicked ideology. The fate of our children, our society, our civilization hinges on it. Now we devote ourselves, with love and unyielding determination, to finishing the indispensable work to which Charlie bravely devoted his life and gave his last measure of devotion.”
